Job Summary

We are looking for a hybrid Quality Assurance + Business Analyst professional to work closely with stakeholders, developers, and product owners to deliver high-quality software products. You will gather and translate business requirements into actionable specifications and ensure product quality through automation testing, with the ability to leverage AI-powered QA tools for efficiency. Our stack includes Databricks, Golang backend, and React UI.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

· Engage with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate requirements.

· Translate requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.

· Collaborate with the development team to ensure a shared understanding of features.

· Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and UAT sessions.

· Use Databricks knowledge to understand data workflows and business logic for better requirement mapping.

Quality Assurance

· Create, maintain, and execute automation test scripts for frontend (React), backend APIs (Golang), and data pipelines (Databricks).

· Use AI-assisted QA tools to accelerate test case creation, defect prediction, and root-cause analysis.

· Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

· Implement API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.) and database validation (SQL, Spark SQL).

· Maintain defect logs and track resolution in tools like Jira.

· Contribute to setting up and improving CI/CD-integrated automated testing pipelines.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

· 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis and Quality Assurance roles.

· Strong automation experience with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.

· Experience with AI-assisted QA tools

· Familiarity with Databricks workflows and data validation.

· API testing experience with Postman, REST Assured, or similar.

· Understanding of React UI testing (Cypress/Playwright) and backend API testing for Golang services.

· Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC best practices.

Preferred Skills

· Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6).

· Understanding of Spark SQL for validating data in Databricks.

· Experience integrating automated tests in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

· ISTQB or IIBA certification is a plus.
