Role Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP Fiori Backend Developer with expertise in modern ABAP, CDS Views, and the Restful ABAP Programming (RAP) Model. The role focuses on developing the backend data structures and application logic that power SAP Fiori and UI5 applications in S/4HANA and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Modeling: Design and develop highly efficient CDS Views (Core Data Services) and Custom CDS Entities to support both analytical and transactional Fiori applications.
  • Application Development: Implement robust backend applications using the Restful ABAP Programming (RAP) Framework, covering both managed and unmanaged scenarios, including draft handling.
  • Performance Optimization: Create performance-optimized application logic using ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) and write clean, modern ABAP code utilizing new syntax (e.g., ABAP 7.4+).
  • OData Services: Build and extend high-performing OData Services (V2 & V4) to serve data to Fiori/UI5 applications.
  • Business Rules: Configure and integrate complex business rules and validations using Business Rule Framework Plus (BRF+).
  • Extensibility: Apply Custom Fields & Logic (CFL) and implement Cloud BAdIs for in-app and cloud extensibility, ensuring future-proof customizations.
  • Testing: Conduct unit testing and integration testing for developed backend services and logic.

Must Have Skills

  • CDS Views development

  • BRF+ (Business Rule Framework Plus)

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹2,000, ₹2,200,000.00 per year
