Role & responsibilities

1. To ensure adherence to safety standards

and statutory requirements as mine

foreman under Regulation 46 of MMR-

1961.

1. To oversee shift-wise mining operations

like Drilling, Blasting, Breaking and Loading

Ore.

1. To carry out Opencast-Mines

Development Activities and Overburden

handling works.

1. To ensure compliance with Safety &

welfare of Mines as per Mines Act-1952,

MMR-1961 & Mines Rules-1955,

considering DGMS guidelines.

1. Conduct Risk Assessments and timely

implementation of control measures.

1. Prepare, maintain and comply with

statutory norms as per DGMS & PESO

guidelines.

1. To review and recommend

improvements for operational safety,

efficiency, quality and productivity.

1. To lead the Team of Mining Mates, Mine

Supervisors and HEMM Operators.

1. To use the resources effectively for

getting maximum production output as well

as productivity parameters.

1. To assist the Assistant Manager and

Mine Manager regarding mining operations.

1. To train and develop staff and workers

to enhance their skills and performance.

1. To promote a culture of Teamwork and

Continuous Improvement.

1. To coordinate with HEMM Maintenance

Team, Quality Control, etc, for better

results.

1. To prepare and maintain documents of

all Data related to Pit-Operation as per

Amrit Cement guidelines.

1. To Laise with Local Stake Holders for

smooth production.

1. Track and analyse key performance

indicators (KPIs) for Mine operations,

implement strategies to improve

efficiencies, reduce costs, and enhance

safety.
