Job Summary:

The Sales and Estimation Costing Executive is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for

projects, generating competitive quotes, and supporting the sales team in client interactions. This role

combines technical understanding with commercial acumen to win profitable business while

maintaining client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales:


• Identify and approach potential clients and projects.


• Understand client requirements and provide technical and commercial proposals.


• Follow up on submitted proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals.


• Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Estimation & Costing:


• Analyze drawings, BOQs, and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates.


• Coordinate with procurement and engineering teams to get updated material and labor costs.


• Prepare and submit commercial proposals, RFQs, and tenders.


• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitiveness.


• Monitor cost deviations and assist in value engineering proposals.

Documentation & Coordination:


• Maintain records of all estimation and sales activities.


• Coordinate with project and design teams to ensure alignment with client expectations.


• Support in preparing presentations and proposal documents for clients.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field.


• 25 years of experience in sales, estimation, or costing roles (industry-specific).


• Strong understanding of materials, construction/production processes, and pricing structures.


• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and estimation software (e.g., Candy, PlanSwift, or similar).
