About the Role

PKL LIMITED is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Quality Assurance Professional to strengthen our QA function. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, hands-on manufacturing experience, and the ability to lead quality initiatives, audits, and customer engagements. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with statutory standards and driving continuous improvement across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Systems & Compliance

  • Ensure strict adherence to
    ISO
    ,
    BIS
    ,
    PESO
    , and other statutory/ regulatory requirements.
  • Lead internal and external audits, customer audits, and certification processes.
  • Oversee documentation, process standardization, and system improvements as per QMS requirements.

Inspection & Quality Control

  • Supervise and guide inspection teams for inward, in-process, and final inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products.
  • Ensure calibration of measuring instruments and maintenance of calibration records.
  • Review and approve inspection reports, quality records, and acceptance criteria.

Problem Solving & Improvements

  • Lead
    Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
    and drive
    Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA)
    .
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce rejections/returns.
  • Collaborate with production, design, procurement, and vendor teams to resolve quality issues.

Customer & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Interact with customers for quality clarifications, audits, approvals, and complaint resolution.
  • Support vendor development activities, ensuring supplier quality compliance.
  • Provide guidance to junior QA/QC staff and develop team capabilities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • B.Tech in Mechanical/Metallurgy/Production/Industrial Engineering
    or relevant field.
  • 6–8 years of experience
    in manufacturing QA/QC, with at least
    2–3 years in a leadership or senior role
    .
  • Strong knowledge of
    engineering drawings
    ,
    welding standards
    , and
    manufacturing inspection methods
    .
  • Proficiency in
    ERP systems
    ,
    MS Office
    , and preparation of QA reports.
  • Preferred certifications:
  • ISO 9001 Internal Auditor
  • Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt)
  • NDT Level II
