1. Role Overview
The Manager – School Curriculum & Publications will be responsible for promoting, selling, and supporting the distribution of 21K School Curriculum and publications to schools across India. This role focuses on institutional outreach, building relationships at the school level, supporting the senior leadership team in key meetings, and driving targeted revenue outcomes.
The position requires strong communication, school relationship management, and disciplined sales execution.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Sales & Outreach
- Promote and sell 21K Curriculum, textbooks, programmes, and academic resources to schools.
- Identify and engage prospective schools (CBSE, ICSE, State Board, International).
- Generate leads through field visits, calls, school networks, and events.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently pursue closures.
B. School Relationship Management
- Meet Principals, Academic Coordinators, and key school stakeholders.
- Organise product demos, curriculum presentations, and school-level meetings.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings for the senior leadership team when required.
- Build professional relationships and ensure schools receive timely follow-up and support.
C. Distribution & Operations Coordination
- Coordinate orders, deliveries, and distribution of curriculum materials and publications.
- Ensure accurate documentation, contracting, and payment follow-up.
- Work with internal teams for smooth onboarding of new schools.
D. Market Intelligence
- Track competitor offerings, pricing, and outreach activities.
- Provide feedback from schools to inform product improvements.
- Maintain detailed records of visits, conversations, and outcomes.
E. Events & Representation
- Attend education fairs, school events, and exhibitions to represent 21K.
- Support planning and execution of local/regional promotional activities.
F. Future Team Development (if required)
- As business volume grows, contribute to building a small regional sales support team.
- Assist in training junior executives or interns.
3. Required Experience & Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in school sales, academic product sales, publishing and/or curriculum.
- Experience selling curricula, books, assessments, or programmes to schools is a must.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Prior experience in school visits, field sales, or institutional outreach.
- Ability to travel extensively for school visits and events.
