Job Description

As a Native Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Android applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and back-end engineers, to build and deploy user-centric mobile apps. Your expertise will ensure that we deliver top-quality apps that run seamlessly across multiple devices and versions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, Design, and Maintain advanced Android applications using Java/Kotlin.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to define and deliver new features, ensuring they meet both user and business needs.
• Ensure app performance, quality, and responsiveness across multiple Android devices and OS versions.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and fix issues while maintaining high standards for code quality.
• Integrate with REST APIs, third-party SDKs, and backend services.
• Follow Material Design principles and Android UI/UX best practices to create intuitive and visually appealing apps.
• Manage app releases and updates on the Google Play Store.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Android frameworks, libraries, and tools to keep apps on the cutting edge.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and Android SDK.
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack components (LiveData, ViewModel, Room, Navigation).
• Solid understanding of Android architectures (MVP, MVVM, Clean Architecture).
• Experience with Firebase, push notifications, in-app purchases, and analytics.
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.
• Solid knowledge of offline storage, threading, and memory management.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools to streamline the development process.
• Ability to manage the full app lifecycle: concept → development → deployment → maintenance.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with Google Play Store publishing and managing multiple app versions.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like Firebase or AWS for mobile integrations.
• Familiarity with unit testing and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with multiplatform development tools like Flutter or Kotlin Multiplatform.
