Position Overview
The Deputy Director – School of Management will play a pivotal role in leading academic operations, strengthening corporate partnerships, and driving outcome-based learning initiatives. The role calls for a leader who understands business realities, can mentor students and faculty alike, and can align academic goals with industry expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide academic and strategic leadership for the School of Management.
- Oversee design, delivery, and continuous improvement of management programs in line with emerging industry trends.
- Mentor faculty members to adopt innovative teaching methodologies, case-based learning, and digital pedagogy.
- Drive corporate engagement initiatives including guest lectures, live projects, management conclaves, and internships.
- Coordinate admissions and branding initiatives in partnership with the Marketing and Admission teams.
- Facilitate student employability programs, leadership development, and corporate readiness initiatives.
- Encourage research and publication activities focused on applied management and industry case studies.
- Represent the School in professional forums, academic councils, and external collaborations.
- Contribute to institutional development, accreditations, and quality assurance processes.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Ph.D. in Management or allied field from a recognized university (preferred).
- MBA / PGDM from a reputed B-School with strong academic and professional credentials.
- Minimum 12–15 years of experience, with at least 5 years in corporate leadership roles (e.g., General Management, Strategy, Marketing, HR, or Operations) and 5+ years in academics (as Associate Professor / Program Chair / Academic Head).
- Proven ability to design and manage industry-linked academic programs.
- Strong professional network across corporate and academic ecosystems.
- Excellent communication, mentoring, and leadership skills.
