About the Role

Throne Solutions is looking for a Network Operations Engineer to join our technical operations team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, managing, and maintaining network infrastructure to ensure continuous uptime, optimal performance, and quick resolution of incidents.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about network technologies, proactive in troubleshooting, and thrive in fast-paced operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor network performance using tools such as Nagios, PRTG, SolarWinds, or ManageEngine.
  • Detect, troubleshoot, and resolve network incidents to minimize downtime.
  • Manage and maintain network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Escalate critical issues to senior engineers or vendors as required.
  • Perform routine maintenance, configuration backups, and firmware updates.
  • Support the deployment and testing of new network infrastructure.
  • Document network incidents, changes, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to ensure stable connectivity and security compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in network operations, NOC, or IT infrastructure support.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, SNMP, syslog, routing, and switching concepts.
  • Experience with incident management and escalation processes.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Certifications (Must Have at Least One):

  • CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
  • CompTIA Network+
