Role Description

We are seeking a
Junior Interior Designe
r for a full-time role based in Mumbai. This position involves:

  • Space planning and developing detailed AutoCAD drawings.
  • Helping create mood boards and concept decks to communicate design intent.
  • Develop drawing and specification packages, and produce accurate documentation as needed in schematic design, design development, construction documentation phases.
  • Coordinate with FF&E and various design teams to produce plans, elevations, and details in order to ensure design intent is incorporated into documentation packages.
  • Assist with material selection, produce specifications, and review contractor submittals for conformance to design intent.
  • Participate in project coordination, construction administration, site visits, and maintain quality control during construction as needed.

Qualifications

  • Professional degree in Interior Design or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of professional experience in interior design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • 3D modeling experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, passionate, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, designers, architects, contractors, fabricators, artisans, and developers.
  • Experience in material selection, preparing specifications, and reviewing contractor submittals for alignment with design intent.
