Company Overview SHEMROCK and Shemford Group of Schools is a prestigious network of educational institutions of India with 650+ preschools, primary schools and 10+2 Schools across India, Nepal & Bangladesh.

Job Purpose:

The SEO Executive will be responsible for enhancing the schools online presence and visibility through search engines. The role focuses on promoting the schools website, academic programs, events, and achievements to increase online reach, inquiries, and admissions conversions through organic search.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to promote the school's website and admission campaigns.
  • Conduct keyword research relevant to the school (e.g., school admissions, best schools, etc.).
  • Optimize on-page elements including meta titles, descriptions, headers, and internal linking to improve search visibility.
  • Manage off-page SEO activities such as backlink building, local directory listings, and educational content submissions.
  • Perform local SEO to improve the school's visibility on Google Maps and local search results.
  • Collaborate with the content and design teams to ensure SEO-friendly blogs, articles, and landing pages.
  • Monitor website analytics using Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools to measure organic performance.
  • Analyse competitors' websites and implement best practices to maintain a strong online presence.
  • Ensure the school website is optimized for mobile users, fast loading speed, and user-friendly navigation.
  • Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, Google algorithm changes, and educational marketing practices.

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in marketing, Digital Marketing, Mass Communication, or related field.

* 1–5 years of experience in SEO, preferably in an educational or service-based organization.

* Certification in SEO or Digital Marketing from a recognized institution is desirable.

Key Skills:

  • Strong understanding of SEO strategies for the education sector.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, or Arefs.
  • Knowledge of WordPress or other CMS platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is an added advantage.
