Lead - Leadership Development

Job Purpose:
The Lead for Leadership Development at Suzlon Energy Ltd. will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing leadership development initiatives across the corporate level. This role is crucial for fostering a culture of continuous learning and leadership excellence within the organization.
The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive experience to cultivate leadership capabilities that align with Suzlon's strategic objectives and Business transformation goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership Strategy Development:
Create and execute a comprehensive leadership development strategy that aligns with corporate objectives and industry best practices.
Collaborate with C-suite, Hi Potential executives to identify leadership capabilities required for organizational success and align to the larger purpose and values
Intervention Design Solutioning and Implementation:
Design innovative leadership development programs, including workshops, coaching, mentoring, and assessment centres.
Implement succession planning frameworks to ensure a robust pipeline of future leaders.
Advocate and interact with external / Internal bodies and consortiums to bring in outside in Perspectives
Create and evangelise a Culture of Continuous Learning
Create GLD ( Global Learning and Development) as an Aspirational Brand
Be able to apply and recognition across Talent Development Forums like ATD/ Golden Peacock
Digital Acumen Integration:
Incorporate digital tools and methodologies into leadership programs to enhance learning experiences and outcomes.
Stay abreast of digital trends in leadership development to ensure Suzlon remains competitive.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Build strong relationships with business unit leaders and HR teams to foster a collaborative approach to leadership development.
Engage with industry forums to benchmark practices and share insights on leadership trends.
Assessment and Evaluation:
Develop metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of leadership development initiatives and certified in Battery of Psychometric Assessments
Conduct regular assessments of program impact on organizational performance and employee engagement.
Design and Conduct ADC ( Assessment Development Centres) – Techno- Beh- Functional
Coaching and Mentoring:
Provide/Create Coaching / Mentoring for leaders to enhance their leadership skills and effectiveness.
Facilitate peer learning opportunities among leaders across different business units.
Create and enable Businesses with their Talent Development agendas
Qualifications:
Education: Master's degree in Psychology, Learning Design , Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
Experience:
15-20 years of progressive experience in leadership development roles preferably within the manufacturing, oil & gas, renewables, or automotive sectors.
Proven track record of working alongside C-suite executives and influencing organizational strategy through effective leadership practices.
Ability to present at Executive Group Reviews with Evidence of Business Impact and Metrics
Skills:
Strong digital acumen with experience in integrating technology into learning solutions.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to design and implement succession planning processes.
Should have handled and managed Finances and Budgets
Strong in Ms Office and Data Analytics
Strong Industry Networks
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with industry forums or associations related to leadership development.
Familiarity with assessment centres and their application in identifying leadership potential and ring fencing Potential Talent Leadership Clusters
Knowledge of contemporary leadership theories and practices relevant to digital transformation.

Working Conditions
- This position may require travel to various Suzlon locations as needed for program implementation and stakeholder engagement.
