About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Expert with 3–6 years of proven experience in developing and managing end-to-end Business Intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data modelling, report/dashboard design, and advanced analytics using DAX, as well as a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and integration with multiple data sources.

Key Responsibilities


• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for various business functions.


• Perform data modelling and establish relationships using best practices for optimal performance.


• Leverage Power Query (M language) for data cleansing, transformation, and automation.


• Develop and optimize DAX measures and calculations for business KPIs and analytical needs.


• Connect to and extract data from SQL databases and other structured/unstructured data sources.


• Integrate Power BI with Azure and Microsoft BI Stack components (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS).


• Work with REST APIs and automation scripts (e.g., Python) to extend BI capabilities


• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.


• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security in all BI solutions.


• Stay up to date with the latest Power BI features and industry best practices. Required Skills &

Qualifications


• 3–6 years of hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.


• Strong understanding of data modelling, star schema, and data warehousing concepts.


• Proficiency in Power Query (M language) for ETL processes.


• Expertise in DAX for creating measures, calculated columns, and KPIs.


• Proficient in SQL for querying, extracting, and transforming data.


• Experience in dashboard and report design with a focus on usability and interactivity.


• Working knowledge of Microsoft BI Stack (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS).


• Experience with Azure and integrating cloud-based data sources.


• Familiarity with REST APIs and scripting languages such as Python for automation.


• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.


• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications


• Experience in enterprise-level BI implementations.


• Knowledge of data governance and security practices in BI solutions.


• Power BI or Microsoft Data Analyst certification is a plus. IT / Software Services
