Join Microchips FPGA software engineering team to develop and optimize EDA tools that power the entire FPGA design flowfrom design entry to synthesis, place-and-route, timing, power analysis, and simulation. As an EDA Software Engineer, youll work in an agile environment, collaborating with experts to enhance the performance and quality of our FPGA design tools.

Requirements/Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:

• BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• 02 years of software engineering experience.
• Proficient in C/C with strong programming, algorithm, and data structure skills.
• Must know Verilog/System Verilog/VHDL. Must be capable of writing test cases and test benches.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, communication, and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with EDA tools (e.g., logic synthesis, formal verification).
• Strong digital design knowledge and FPGA experience.
• Familiarity with Git and scripting languages (Perl, Python, Bash, Tcl).
• Experience with large-scale software development on Linux and Windows.

Benefits of working at Microchip

The annual base salary range for this position is $76,000 - $114,000.*
*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
