Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer who can design and deliver advanced analytics solutions by integrating data from various COTS products (ERP/SAP) into Power BI. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in data extraction, transformation, and visualization, along with hands-on exposure to cloud platforms, to build scalable and insightful dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Connect and import data from ERP / SAP or other COTS applications into Power BI.
  • Build and optimize data models, datasets, and queries to support analytics and reporting.
  • Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Power BI.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
  • Ensure data accuracy, performance, and security across all reporting solutions.
  • Automate and schedule data refresh processes.
  • Work with cloud-based data platforms for storage, processing, and integration.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience in Power BI development and data visualization.
  • Proven experience in extracting and transforming data from ERP / SAP or other commercial off-the-shelf systems.
  • Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
  • Hands-on exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Experience with performance optimization and troubleshooting Power BI reports.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Synapse, etc.).
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for BI solutions.
  • Experience working in agile environments.
