Purchasing Executive

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Engineer to join our team in the aluminium industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials and services necessary for aluminium manufacturing and operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.

Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Experience & Skills:
Proven experience as a Purchase Engineer or in procurement within the aluminium or metals industry. Strong understanding of aluminium manufacturing processes and materials. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems. Familiarity with industry standards, quality standards, and safety regulations

Key Responsibilities

:

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for aluminium raw materials, components, and equipment.

• Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.

• Analyze market trends to forecast material prices and availability.

• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to understand procurement needs.

• Prepare purchase orders and track order status to ensure timely delivery.

• Assist in organizing transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to optimize efficiency.

• Conduct supplier performance evaluations and maintain good supplier relationships.

• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, standards, and quality requirements.

• Manage inventory levels and optimize procurement processes to reduce costs.

• Resolve supply chain issues and coordinate with logistics for smooth delivery.

• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
