SAP FICO Testing Lead

Location: India (Hybrid / Onsite as per project requirement)

Experience Required: 10+ years (with 8+ years in SAP FICO Testing)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP FICO Testing Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP FICO testing, strong leadership qualities, and hands-on experience in managing end-to-end testing activities. The role requires close collaboration with clients, business teams, and technical stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery of SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the SAP FICO testing lifecycle test planning, scripting, execution, defect management, and reporting.
  • Review business requirements and translate them into effective test strategies and test cases.
  • Handle test estimation and resource planning for SAP FICO modules.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and clients to ensure testing covers all functional and integration scenarios.
  • Utilize test management tools for planning, tracking, and reporting.
  • Guide and mentor testing teams, ensuring quality deliverables within timelines.
  • Provide expertise on where and how to leverage test automation tools for SAP FICO processes.
  • Participate in client discussions, status meetings, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Ensure defects are tracked, analyzed, and resolved efficiently.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of overall testing experience, with at least 8+ years in SAP FICO testing.
  • Strong hands-on experience in test scripting and execution.
  • Proven track record of leading testing teams and handling client interactions.
  • Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, Jira, Solution Manager, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of SAP FICO business processes.
  • Expertise in preparing and reviewing test estimations, strategies, and reports.
  • Good knowledge of test automation concepts and tools for SAP FICO.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to other SAP modules and integration testing.
  • Experience with Agile / DevOps methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Worksoft or similar SAP automation tools.
