Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP FICO Testing Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP FICO testing, strong leadership qualities, and hands-on experience in managing end-to-end testing activities. The role requires close collaboration with clients, business teams, and technical stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery of SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the SAP FICO testing lifecycle test planning, scripting, execution, defect management, and reporting.
- Review business requirements and translate them into effective test strategies and test cases.
- Handle test estimation and resource planning for SAP FICO modules.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and clients to ensure testing covers all functional and integration scenarios.
- Utilize test management tools for planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Guide and mentor testing teams, ensuring quality deliverables within timelines.
- Provide expertise on where and how to leverage test automation tools for SAP FICO processes.
- Participate in client discussions, status meetings, and stakeholder reporting.
- Ensure defects are tracked, analyzed, and resolved efficiently.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of overall testing experience, with at least 8+ years in SAP FICO testing.
- Strong hands-on experience in test scripting and execution.
- Proven track record of leading testing teams and handling client interactions.
- Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, Jira, Solution Manager, etc.).
- Strong understanding of SAP FICO business processes.
- Expertise in preparing and reviewing test estimations, strategies, and reports.
- Good knowledge of test automation concepts and tools for SAP FICO.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to other SAP modules and integration testing.
- Experience with Agile / DevOps methodologies.
- Knowledge of Worksoft or similar SAP automation tools.
