We are seeking a skilled and responsible CSSD Technician to join our healthcare team. The candidate will be responsible for the cleaning, sterilization, and maintenance of surgical instruments, medical equipment, and related items to ensure infection-free operations within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, disinfect, pack, and sterilize all surgical instruments, trays, and equipment.
  • Operate autoclaves and other sterilization machines following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain proper records of sterilized items, batch numbers, and sterilization cycles.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working condition and report any faults immediately.
  • Follow infection control protocols and ensure compliance with hospital safety and hygiene standards.
  • Store sterile items properly to prevent contamination and ensure timely availability to all departments.
  • Coordinate with operation theatre (OT), ICU, and other departments for timely supply of sterile items.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of sterilization supplies and consumables.
  • Participate in regular training and quality audits to ensure continuous improvement.

  • Good organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and within timelines.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
