Senior Academic Advisor

We are looking for a highly experienced and student-focused Senior Academic Advisor to provide advanced academic and career guidance, support student success initiatives, and mentor junior advisors. The Senior Academic Advisor will play a key role in helping students achieve their academic goals while contributing to institutional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide academic advising on course planning, program selection, and degree completion.
• Offer career guidance and support students in aligning academic paths with professional goals.
• Mentor and train junior academic advisors to ensure effective student support.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, addressing academic challenges with timely interventions.
• Develop and implement student success strategies, workshops, and orientation sessions.
• Act as a liaison between students, faculty, and administration to resolve academic issues.
• Maintain accurate advising records, reports, and documentation.
• Stay updated on institutional policies, curriculum changes, and industry trends.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in academic advising, student support, or counseling.
• Strong mentoring and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage complex student cases with empathy and professionalism.
• Knowledge of academic management systems and proficiency in MS Office.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
