Responsibilities:

  • Perform TIG (Argon) welding on stainless steel,mild steel.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and fabrication sketches.
  • Fabricate, fit, and assemble components as per design and quality standards.
  • Ensure proper alignment, dimensions, and tolerances of fabricated items.
  • Conduct grinding, cutting, drilling, and finishing operations where required.
  • Inspect and test welded surfaces for strength and accuracy.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace in good condition.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Must have knowledge of WPS/WPQ/PQR-Read & Understood.
  • Must have knowledge of filler wire selection.
  • Must pass for radiography Weld Joints.

Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Argon (TIG) welding and fabrication work.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and understand welding symbols
  • Knowledge of materials and welding consumables.

Preferred:

  • Experience in SS fabrication, pressure vessels,piping, or structural fabrication.
  • Certification in Welding / Fabrication (ITI or equivalent).Role & responsibilities
