In HPE Hybrid Cloud, we lead the innovation agenda and technology roadmap for all of HPE. This includes managing the design, development, and product portfolio of our next-generation cloud platform, Green Lake. Working with customers, we help them reimagine their information technology needs to deliver a simple, consumable solution that helps them drive their business results. What you'll do:

• HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000 is our flagship Object storage Platform that was released in November 2024. This product line powers many of customers' AI first use-cases tapping Data Intelligence from their Storage systems.
• Designs, develops, troubleshoots, and debugs system software programs for enhancements and new products for the storage systems. Develops system/platform software for enabling different components on the storage arrays.

Responsibilities:

• Systems Engineer with expertise in Enterprise storage product.
• Designs and develops new features part of periodic firmware release for X10000 family of storage products
• Design and develop features/capabilities related to Object storage
• Designs enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of systems software, including IO path, storage management, databases and cloud-related application.
• Responsibilities also include improvement/stability of a codebase release by targeted code fixes, minor enhancements
• Triage and fix customer issues as part of minor releases and creatively address customer issues through validated work-arounds
• Work often involves cross organizational interactions: Hardware, Firmware, System management, Network teams, Architects, other organizations, etc. to arrive at the best solutions.
• Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution.
• Writes and executes complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of system; identifies and debugs and creates solutions for issues with code and integration into system architecture.
• Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and external partners regarding software systems design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
• Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.

What you need to bring:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Working experience of 10+ years with 5+ years in storage domain

Knowledge and Skills:

• Must have very strong system programming background with C/C++/ Golang for large enterprise class software.
• A Storage first person is highly desired
• Must have proficiency with data structures, algorithms and multi-threaded programming
• Must have in-depth knowledge of OS internals, networking, and storage concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• D Prior experience handling support for customer issues/escalations is highly desired
• esigning software systems running on multiple platform types.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels.
