Job Description: Project Coordinator – under the Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana (PKVY) project .

We're seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team under the Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana (PKVY) project . The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support in implementing project activities, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Requirements:

  • Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ related field

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project implementation/ management

  • Strong knowledge of agricultural practices and technologies

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Key Components:

*Cluster-Based Approach*: Farmers are grouped into clusters to adopt organic practices collectively.

*Certification*: Third-party certification (NPOP) and Participatory Guarantee System (PGS-India) for domestic and international markets.

*Market Linkages*: Establishing direct market linkages for organic produce.

  • Key Responsibilities:

Awareness and Capacity Building:

  • Conducting workshops and training sessions for farmers on organic farming practices.

  • Providing technical guidance and hands-on training.

Cluster Formation:

  • Identifying and forming farmer clusters to adopt organic farming collectively.

  • Facilitating group activities and ensuring community participation.

Technical Support:

  • Assisting farmers in transitioning to organic practices and obtaining certification.

  • Providing agronomic support and troubleshooting

  • Provide technical guidance and support to project staff and stakeholders

  • Ensure project activities are implemented as per guidelines and timelines

  • Conduct regular field visits and monitor project progress

  • Identify and address implementation challenges and provide solutions

  • Collaborate with other project teams and stakeholders .

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30, ₹40,000.00 per month
