Job Summary

At Qauntsapp we are looking for a dynamic team mate to take up the role of Data Engineer to support the brain behind the application.

  • We are seeking Data Engineer who are passionate about marrying data with optimal transformation for consumption using emerging technologies.

  • An ideal candidate should be strong in mathematical processes like optimizations, differential equations, simulation process etc. and should also possess decent hands-on experience on python, sql server and AWS. IIT graduation is a plus.

Responsibilities :

  • BE from Teir-1 Institute, bachelor's in computer science or mathematics

  • Expertise (5+ years of experience) in Python, designing and developing high-performance systems & package development

  • Experience with scientific computing packages - scipy, numpy, pandas and its ecosystem

  • Experience using cloud infrastructure (AWS in particular) to establish APIs and data services.

  • Demonstrated adherence to best practices in software engineering, particularly usability, version control, testing, and appropriate use of abstraction.

Requirements :

  1. Should possess a good knowledge of advanced computing and mathematical process

  2. Strong hands-on on Python and optionally C,C#

  3. Knowledge of databases Sql & No Sql

  4. Ability to work with tight timelines

  5. Experience on AWS Cloud

  6. Knowledge of Option Markets is a plus

  7. Excellent organizational and multitasking ability

  8. Experience with Distributed data/computing tools (MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark) is a plus

  9. Experience with NoSQL implementation (Mongo, Cassandra)

  10. Well versed with UNIX/Linux including basic commands and shell scripting

Experience: 3 to 5 years
