Dental Chairside Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dental Chairside Assistant to support our dental team in delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during clinical procedures, maintain a clean and organized operatory, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations in the clinic. Male candidates are preferred due to the nature of certain duties requiring physical support and equipment handling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Chairside Assistance:
- Prepare dental instruments, materials, and the operatory before each procedure.
- Assist the dentist during treatments by passing instruments, mixing materials, and using suction effectively.
- Take and process dental X-rays (if certified/authorized).
- Ensure patient comfort and assist in managing patient flow in the clinic.
- Infection Control & Equipment Maintenance:
- Follow strict sterilization and infection control protocols.
- Clean, disinfect, and arrange dental instruments and equipment.
- Maintain dental units and assist in the setup and calibration of dental machinery.
- Patient Care & Support:
- Prepare patients for treatment and provide reassurance throughout procedures.
- Give postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.
- Escort patients to and from the operatory when needed.
- Administrative Support:
- Maintain accurate patient and treatment records.
- Manage stock and request supplies when necessary.
- Support front-desk operations when required (appointments, billing, etc.).
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or Certificate in Dental Assisting or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a Dental Assistant or Chairside Assistant preferred.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, materials, and instruments.
- Familiarity with infection control and sterilization procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy clinical environment.
- Male candidates preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹8, ₹15,000.00 per month
