Primary Responsibilities:

Analyze and understand the functional and technical requirementsImplement solutions aligned to the enterprise strategy leveraging strategic tools/technologies, patterns, processesParticipate in Agile/Scrum development processTroubleshoot and debug applicationsCommunicate effectively with other engineers and QAComply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree, with a focus in Computer Science or Information Technology or comparable experience6+ years of proven programming background in Java or Groovy3+ years of proven JavaScript and building user interfaces. Hands on experience in building webservices, RESTful API, Spring etc.Hands-on development experience with management and implementation of APIs and microservicesExperience with complex development patterns, particularly around extending/enhancing current portal capabilitiesExperience in business process improvement or business process re-engineering projects and working closely with business and operations teamsSolid grasp of Software Engineering and Object-Oriented Design principalsKnowledge or exposure to implementing BPM solutions using one of the top BPM products (preferably Camunda)Solid understanding of Agile methodologyDemonstrated ability to collaborate with Product Owners and Design leads to implement robust automation solutions

  • Proficiency with AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot or AWS Code Whisperer or Google's Codey (Duet AI) or any relevant tools is expected. Candidates should be adept at integrating these tools into their workflows to accelerate development, improve code quality, and enhance delivery velocity.

Expected to proactively leverage AI tools throughout the software development lifecycle to drive faster iteration, reduce manual effort, and boost overall engineering productivity
