Year of Experience: 02-05 years

Experience in Zydus: 24 months (must have completed 2 PMS in Zydus)

Qualification:

Graduate/Postgraduate in Microbiology

Key Job description:

  • Sampling and analysis of water samples for microbial tests for purified water, water for injection, clean steam, bore-well water, process water, RO water, and ultra-pure water according to the schedule.
  • Carry out sampling and microbiological monitoring of environment and utility samples.
  • Perform the calibration and operation of balance, pH meter, conductivity meter, water chemical test, TOC, Vitek-2, Water activity, Autoclave, colony counter instruments.
  • Prepare sterile culture media and conduct growth promotion tests according to the respective SOP/GTP.
  • Analyse swab samples, bioburden tests, and other microbiological test of samples by membrane filtration method.
  • Conduct environmental monitoring and personnel monitoring in the microbiology laboratory and non-sterile dosage area as per the respective SOP.
  • Conduct microbial method validation of raw materials, packing materials, finished products, disinfectant validation, water samples for microbial tests, loop qualification, and other validation studies as per the validation protocol.
  • Perform Microbiological analysis of raw materials, packing materials, finished products, stability samples.
  • Prior experience in pharmaceutical industry
  • Environmental Monitoring for manufacturing rooms including the Microbiology Laboratory- Air, surface and personnel
  • Basic Knowledge of general Microbiology techniques such as gram staining, aseptic technique, and plate streaking technique.
  • Basic Knowledge of water sampling & testing, MLT testing & Culture handling.
  • Basic Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) on a daily basis.
  • 2-4 years working experience in related field.
  • Knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical laboratory quality requirements.

Skill Set:

Ability to perform precise and accurate Microbiological analysis.

Ability to operate and calibrate laboratory instruments
