Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces and a keen eye for aesthetics, functionality, and detail. This role involves collaborating with clients to create innovative design solutions that enhance their living or working environments. The Interior Designer will be responsible for managing projects from concept through execution, ensuring that all designs meet client expectations and adhere to industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
  • Develop comprehensive design concepts that include space planning, color schemes, furniture selection, and material specifications.
  • Utilize design software such as 3ds Max and Revit to create detailed visualizations and presentations.
  • Prepare project documentation including contracts, specifications, and schedules using tools like Bluebeam.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to timelines and budgets.
  • Oversee the renovation and remodeling processes, coordinating with contractors and vendors to ensure quality workmanship.
  • Conduct lighting design assessments and provide recommendations for lighting sales that enhance the overall aesthetic of the space.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide innovative solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
  • Proven experience in interior design with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects.
  • Proficiency in design software including 3ds Max and Revit; familiarity with Bluebeam is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Knowledge of lighting design principles and experience in lighting sales is preferred.
  • A creative mindset with an eye for detail and a passion for creating functional spaces.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
