Role Overview

As a Power Platform – Finance Automation Specialist, you will build, orchestrate, and scale end-to-end automation across the Finance function using:

• Power Automate (Cloud + Desktop)
• Power Apps (Canvas + Model-Driven)
• Dataverse
• Integrations with ERPs, CRMs, RCM, and compliance stacks

You will work closely with our Finance CoE, Digital Labs, and AI Engineering teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and measurable automation for global clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Finance Workflow & Process Automation

Design and deploy automation for:

• Accounts Payable & Vendor Management
• Accounts Receivable & Automated Dunning
• Expense Management & Approvals
• Purchase Requisitions, PO Creation, GRN workflows
• Month-End Close orchestration
• Compliance, Audit Trails & System Controls

• Alerts for reconciliation mismatches, exceptions, and thresholds

• Power Apps Development

• Build business apps for finance teams (approval apps, exception dashboards, vendor portals).

• Develop Canvas Apps with role-based UI and intuitive UX for finance operations.

• Build Model-Driven apps backed by Dataverse for structured workflows.

• Integration & System Orchestration

• Integrate Power Platform with:

• Zoho Books / Zoho Projects / Zoho People
• Dynamics 365, Business Central, SAP
• Tally Prime, QuickBooks
• SharePoint, Teams, Outlook
• SQL Server / Dataverse / APIs

• Build custom connectors where required.

• Data & Automation Governance

• Implement ALM, versioning, solution layers, and environment governance.

• Manage connector governance, DLP policies, and platform security.

• Ensure auto-logging, monitoring, and exception management within flows.

• Collaboration & Delivery Excellence

• Work with Finance leadership, CoE, and Business Analysts to map processes.

• Document workflows, SOPs, ERDs, and maintain automation playbooks.
• Train finance teams on new apps and automations.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–7 years of hands-on experience with Power Automate (Cloud + Desktop) and Power Apps.
• Strong Finance domain exposure (AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, procurement, closing cycles).
• Experience with mid/complex flows using conditions, loops, HTTP calls, JSON parsing.
• Dataverse schema design, security roles, tables, business rules.
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems integration (Zoho/Dynamics/SAP/QuickBooks/Tally).
• Good understanding of Power Platform governance, monitoring, and error handling.
• Ability to work in fast-paced consulting engagements.

Preferred / Good to Have

• AI Builder (OCR, invoice extraction, document classification).
• Power Automate Desktop for RPA-heavy workflows.
• Experience with Azure (Logic Apps, Functions).
• Exposure to Zoho ecosystem will be a plus.
• Experience contributing to automation COEs.
