Job Purpose:

To lead and manage the planning, execution, and completion of civil works for brownfield and greenfield projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:


• Project Planning & Execution


• Lead the end-to-end execution of greenfield and brownfield civil projects, from concept to

commissioning.


• Prepare detailed project schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and resource planning.


• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, contracts, and construction.


• Design & Engineering


• Review and approve civil engineering drawings, technical specifications, and design documents.


• Interface with design consultants and contractors to ensure adherence to project requirements and industry standards.


• Site Management


• Monitor site activities to ensure progress, quality, and safety compliance.


• Resolve site-level issues, technical queries, and interface coordination with other disciplines.


• Ensure adherence to statutory, regulatory, and environmental norms.


• Project Monitoring & Reporting


• Track project milestones and provide regular progress reports to senior management.


• Identify risks, delays, and cost overruns and implement corrective actions.


• Manage cost control, billing verification, and contract compliance.


• Stakeholder Management


• Liaise with government bodies, contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal teams.


• Ensure effective communication and alignment of project objectives with stakeholders.


• Key Requirements:


• Qualifications & Experience:


• B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering


• 10-15 years of relevant experience in civil project execution, with at least 5 years handling both

brownfield and greenfield industrial/infrastructure projects in factory environement.


• Proven track record in managing complex projects including retrofitting, expansion (brownfield), and new site development (greenfield).


• Technical Skills:


• Strong knowledge of civil construction methodologies, project management tools (Primavera/MS Project), and relevant codes/standards (IS, ASTM, BIS).


• Experience in quantity estimation, budgeting, and contractor management.


• Familiarity with HSE and QA/QC practices on construction sites.
