Role & responsibilities

  • Manage daily pharmacy operations including dispensing, patient interaction, and stock management.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of medicines and healthcare products.
  • Place purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers/vendors to ensure uninterrupted stock availability.
  • Negotiate with vendors to secure the best pricing and offers.
  • Ensure accurate billing and smooth functioning of pharmacy management software.
  • Provide professional guidance and counseling to patients regarding prescribed medications.
  • Uphold all pharmacy compliance requirements and maintain records as per regulatory standards.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Registered Pharmacist with the Telangana State Pharmacy Council (preferred, though candidates awaiting registration or different state registration may also apply).
  • Prior experience in retail pharmacy is required; experience in hospital pharmacy will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in pharmacy management software and digital billing systems.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management and procurement practices.
  • Excellent communication and patient-handling skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and committed to high standards of patient care.
