Job Description: We are looking for a skilled software developer to design and build a workflow management tool that streamlines task allocation, ensures role-based distribution of work, and provides real-time reporting on productivity, quality, and efficiency. The tool will integrate with multiple data input channels and automate end-to-end workflow tracking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Integration
  • Enable input of workflow data via:
  • Excel upload
  • APIs from external systems
  • Direct entry through application UI
  • Task Assignment
  • Auto-assign work items to individuals based on:
  • Assigned role
  • Availability and workload
  • Predefined business rules (e.g., inflow vs. daily target)
  • Workflow Execution
  • Provide a simple interface for employees to process assigned tasks.
  • Mark tasks as Completed using unique completion codes.
  • Allow exception handling via exception codes when a task cannot be completed.
  • Automatically remove completed tasks from the queue.
  • Reporting & Analytics
  • Build dashboards and reports at an individual and team level:
  • Inflow of tasks
  • Completed tasks
  • Productivity (per day/shift)
  • Quality (based on error/exception codes)
  • Efficiency metrics
  • Access & Security
  • Implement role-based access controls:
  • Admin users (full access)
  • Restricted users (view/execute only)

Required Skills

  • Strong programming skills in Python, , or Java (any backend technology).
  • Experience with web frameworks (Django, Flask, Express, Spring Boot, etc.).
  • Frontend knowledge (React, Angular, or Vue).
  • Experience in building APIs and integrating third-party APIs.
  • Knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Experience with task queue management systems is a plus (Celery, RabbitMQ, Kafka).
  • Ability to implement role-based access control and secure authentication.
  • Strong knowledge of reporting and analytics dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or custom dashboards).
