We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented
QA Associate
to join our Quality Assurance team. The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and performance.

Position Overview:

The
QA Associate
will be responsible for performing thorough testing of software applications, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with development teams to ensure product quality. This role requires analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in quality processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze system requirements, design documents, and functional specifications to ensure clear understanding of project scope and objectives.
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various applications.
  • Conduct different types of testing including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using standard defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar).
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Development, Product Management, and Project Management to ensure defect-free releases.
  • Participate in project meetings, sprint reviews, and quality discussions to provide inputs from a QA perspective.
  • Ensure testing deliverables comply with internal quality standards and best practices.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support the development of automated testing frameworks when applicable.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 0–5 years of experience
    in software testing or quality assurance roles.
  • Strong understanding of the
    Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
    and
    Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
    .
  • Experience in writing and executing detailed test cases and scenarios.
  • Proficiency in defect management and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, or similar).
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for backend validation.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to
    automation testing tools
    such as Selenium, TestNG, or Cypress.
  • Hands-on experience with
    API testing
    tools such as Postman.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments and CI/CD pipelines.
  • ISTQB or equivalent certification will be an added advantage.
