Job Description:

We are seeking a 5+ years experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will take the lead in crafting intuitive, user-centric fintech solutions for banking and corporate clients. Your expertise in designing seamless and visually appealing user interfaces, along with your deep understanding of user behavior and interaction design principles, will be instrumental in delivering exceptional digital experiences.

As a Senior Designer, you will mentor junior team members, advocate for design excellence, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to shape innovative and scalable solutions that align with business goals and user needs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

User-Centered Design Leadership:

• Conduct in-depth user research and analysis to identify user pain points, preferences, and behaviors.
• Create detailed user personas, journey maps, and storyboards to guide design strategies.

Advanced Design and Prototyping:

• Develop high-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user interface designs using tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
• Design scalable, component-driven interfaces that adhere to brand guidelines and reflect fintech industry best practices.

Strategic Collaboration and Cross-Functional Alignment:

• Partner closely with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into intuitive designs.
• Ensure design goals align with business objectives, user expectations, and technical feasibility.
• Actively participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure design consistency.

Usability Testing and Iteration:

• Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to validate design concepts and prototypes.
• Analyze feedback and usage data to identify areas of improvement and iteratively enhance the design.

Information Architecture and Interaction Design:

• Build logical navigation systems and information architectures that optimize the user journey.
• Define micro-interactions, animations, and transitions to create seamless and engaging user experiences.

Mentorship and Design Advocacy:

• Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
• Promote a culture of design excellence and advocate for user-centric approaches across the organization.

Industry Awareness and Innovation:

• Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and best practices in UI/UX design, fintech, and emerging technologies.
• Experiment with and implement innovative design techniques to maintain a competitive edge.

Mandatory Skills:

Design Tools

• Figma (most standard), Sketch, Adobe CC.

Prototyping

• Principle, Framer, Protopie (Any one).

Basic Front-End Understanding

• HTML, CSS, and how designs get implemented.
• Awareness of design handoff tools (Zeplin, Figma Dev Mode).

Qualifications and Experience:

Experience:

5+ years of proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, preferably with fintech or enterprise solutions.

Portfolio:

A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user research, interaction design, and visually stunning interfaces.

Technical Proficiency:

Mastery of design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.

User-Centric Approach:

Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility standards, and usability best practices.

Collaboration:

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.

Analytical Mindset:

Experience with user research methodologies, usability testing, and data-driven design decisions.

Problem-Solving:

Ability to translate complex business and technical requirements into elegant and user-friendly solutions.

Adaptability:

Skilled at managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of design systems, accessibility (WCAG standards), and responsive design principles.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (not mandatory but a plus).
• Experience working in fintech or designing for enterprise clients is a strong advantage.
