We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Research Analyst to support business, investment, and strategic initiatives through high-quality research and insights. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong foundation in secondary research, financial analysis, and M&A support, who are comfortable working with data, market intelligence, and client-ready materials such as pitch books and reports.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth secondary research using public and paid databases, industry reports, company filings, and market publications.
  • Analyse industry trends, market size, growth drivers, competitive landscapes, and customer dynamics across sectors.
  • Support M&A activities by conducting target screening, company profiling, and preliminary financial and strategic analysis.
  • Prepare pitch books, investment decks, and client presentations with clear narratives, visuals, and data-driven insights.
  • Develop detailed company profiles, market overviews, benchmarking studies, and SWOT analyses.
  • Assist in financial research, valuation support, and deal rationale documentation where required.
  • Synthesize large volumes of qualitative and quantitative data into concise summaries and executive-level insights.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality across all research outputs and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to refine research frameworks, templates, and best practices.
  • Stay updated on market developments, regulatory changes, and industry news relevant to ongoing projects.
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Research Analyst or in a similar research, consulting, investment, or analytics role.
  • Strong hands-on experience in secondary research, including market, industry, and company analysis.
  • Exposure to M&A research, transaction support, or investment research is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to create professional pitch books and presentation decks for internal or external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Ability to interpret complex information and present it in a structured, easy-to-understand manner.
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel for research analysis and presentation development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Management, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
