JOB DESRIPTION

● Working knowledge of Web Service Concepts, Java script and/or Java, JSON/XML 

● Proficient in using tools like Postman or similar

● Ability to design and maintain test automation frameworks and develop automated test scripts.

● Proficient in test automation tools such as Selenium or Karate framework or similar.

● Strong background and experience on manual testing concepts, methodologies, SDLC models.

RESPONSIBILITIES

●  Design, develop, and execute manual test cases to ensure the highest level of product quality.

●  Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python/Selenium, enhancing our automation framework to support new features and improve test coverage.

●  Identify, record, and document thoroughly any bugs or discrepancies encountered during testing.

● Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues and ensure that software meets all specifications and quality standards.

●  Participate in the creation and review of software documentation to ensure testability and completeness.

●  Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies, continuously seeking ways to improve the QA process.

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

● Overall, 2+ years of experience in Testing Applications and desktop Web/Enterprise Applications.

MUST HAVE SKILLS

  • Testing of either Gen AI, NLP, Conversational AI must.
  • Work experience of Testing conversation AI frameworks
  • Excellent understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts from QA perspective
  • Proficiency to measure the NLP models accuracy, benchmarking
  • 3-5 years of experience in software QA, with a focus on both manual and automated testing.
  • Proficiency in Selenium/Python for creating robust, reliable, and repeatable automated tests.
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and document defects, errors, and inconsistencies in software applications.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

 

OTHER SKILLS WE'D APPRECIATE 

 

  • Good understanding of NLP concepts
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java and Python is a plus.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION  

● Bachelor's in engineering or Master's in computer applications
