Primary Responsibilities:

  • Review and preparation of Variable Cost & Overheads with variance analysis Vs Budget/Forecast/Last Month Actual.
  • Analyze manufacturing costs, raw material cost, labor, and overhead to determine profitability.
  • Perform cost estimates for every product in SAP with accuracy.
  • Facilitate preparation of annual budgets on cost, KPIs and overheads.
  • Ensure compliance to month end deliverables including inventory management.
  • Identify cost saving initiatives and monitor the same through WCM / other initiatives.
  • Preparations of all capex proposals and post review analysis
  • Support to all Statutory and Cost Audit Activities.
  • Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Conduct cost analysis and prepare cost estimates for new and existing products, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and information required for cost calculations.
  • Monitor and analyze actual costs against budgeted costs, identifying and investigating any discrepancies or variances.
  • Prepare and maintain cost report, providing management with insightful analysis and recommendations for cost optimization.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of cost control measures and procedures to enhance efficiency and profitability.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits, reconciling physical stock with system records and identifying any discrepancies.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Determine and calculate formulas for fixed and variable costs, and monthly purchases.
  • Prepare cost forecasts for monthly, quarterly, or annual operating schedules
  • Maintain appropriate cost records and coordinate cost audits.
  • Manage customer invoicing process, Receivables management, Timely reporting to the management and receivables follow-up with customers.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and changes in costing methodologies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Able to demonstrate forward thinking, ability to problem solve, and propose solutions.
  • Good decision making & analytical skills, Good Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent in MS Excel.
  • Experience in SAP-FI or CO

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Cost Accountant (from Institute of Cost Accountants of India)
  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience as a cost accountant, analyst, or other relevant role
