We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer with experience in Truck Cabin and Automobile Body Part Design & Development. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SolidWorks 3D modeling and Sheet Metal design, along with a good understanding of AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Development:

    Design and develop truck cabins, automobile body parts, dashboards, seating arrangements, and interiors.
  • 3D Modeling & Prototyping:

    Create detailed 3D models and prototypes using SolidWorks (Sheet Metal, Assembly, 3D Modeling).
  • Sheet Metal Design:

    Apply strong sheet metal knowledge in modeling, assembly, and structural design (mandatory skill).
  • Problem Solving:

    Identify and resolve design flaws and address production challenges effectively.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with electrical, mechanical, and production teams to ensure smooth design integration.
  • Documentation:

    Maintain and update design documentation, drawings, and revision control using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks (Sheet Metal, Assembly, 3D Modeling)
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Strong visualization and analytical ability
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and production constraints
  • Team collaboration and problem-solving skills

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering
  • 1 - 3 years of relevant design experience
  • Proficient in Sheet Metal design (mandatory)
  • Candidates with hands-on experience in truck or automobile body structure design will be preferred
