Network Security Engineer

Role Overview: As a Network Security / Security Analyst, you will be responsible for assessing applications, designing and reviewing them from a security perspective, and making decisions to approve or disapprove the applications. You will have the opportunity to learn core Network Security Architecture. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate good working knowledge in network security, including skills in VPN, Firewall, Load balancer, Reverse and Forward Proxy, API communication, IP V4&V6, OSI Layer, and basic understanding of Application Architecture. - Conduct assessments of applications and ensure they meet security standards. - Design and review applications to enhance security measures. - Participate in the approval or disapproval process for applications. - Preferred certification in CCNA or COMPTIA Security . - Good to have skills in risk management. - Additional certifications such as CCNP, CISP, or CEH are beneficial. Qualifications Required: - 3-5 years of experience in network security. - Strong understanding of VPN, Firewall, Load balancer, Reverse and Forward Proxy, API communication, IP V4&V6, OSI Layer, and basic Application Architecture. - Certification in CCNA or COMPTIA Security is highly preferred. - Knowledge of risk management is a plus. - Flexibility to work in a hybrid mode (2 days a week in office). - Ability to work the shift hours from 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM (Mon to Fri).
