Role overview:

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to support and optimize cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes for complex, cloud-based medical software systems. This role is ideal for early-career DevOps professionals looking to grow in a regulated, product-driven environment while contributing to software released to market.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with senior engineers to develop, maintain, and secure AWS cloud infrastructure. You will support containerization, monitoring, compliance, and automation initiatives across the full product lifecycle.

What will you be doing?

  • Develop & maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
  • Support containerization efforts using Docker and Kubernetes configurations
  • Participate in the implementation of security best practices
  • Help configure and monitor system performance using observability tools
  • Contribute to version control and release management processes
  • Support compliance documentation for medical device software regulations
  • Collaborate with senior team members to learn and improve DevOps practices
  • Full product life cycle experience, preferably having contributed to products released to market.

What will you need to be successful?

  • BS in Software Engineering, MS or PhD in Software Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent required
  • Min 2-7 yrs experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).
  • Fundamental understanding of Linux/Unix systems administration.
  • Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, Lambda, CloudWatch)
  • Understanding of containerization concepts
  • Fundamental scripting skills (Bash, Python)
