Job Purpose

  1. Shoulder managerial role of envisaging the scope, timeline in line with business requirement and adherence to the regulations such as RERA, OC etc.

  2. Comply with pre-defined planning and monitoring SOPs as part of companys Management System and identify and propose areas of improvement to better the processes keeping the process objectives intact.

  3. Generate accurate and effective MIS reports, presentations to management with fact-based approach to enable necessary decision making at appropriate levels.

Role & responsibilities

  1. Acquire information on current and upcoming projects / activities. Understand project specifics, scope.

and project deliverables.

  1. Prepare micro schedule for one month look ahead plan.

  2. Track project status, prepare and analyse reports, highlight critical findings, propose solutions, and enable action through early warning system in line with practices / SOP and under guidance of CPO and Head Planning.

  3. Keep records of manpower required / actual in day-to-day basis for each contractor with approximate quantity of work done at site in prescribed D.P.R.

  4. Assist Project Manager to update schedule / task on E.P.M. environment.

  5. Guide EPC team members on readiness of prospective works and coordinate weekly /monthly review meetings.

  6. Derive resources requirement, assess their availability, and derive and compare productivity, basis knowledge of industry standard norms & suggest changes.

  7. Monitor and verify project schedules, obtain approvals regularly from Planning Head as required.

  8. Suggest & Control change of baseline for projects as per the SOP.

  9. Analyse MIS, highlight critical issues and suggest improvements.

  10. Support project and Contracts team with recorded data on delay analysis of contractors performance

  11. Attend and resolve issues related to reports generated, highlight delay basis client & agencies scope.

  12. Prepare reports for cash flow and budget analysis with variance.

  13. Ensure issue of certificate(s) in 1st week of every month in line with regulatory requirements.

  14. Ensure creation of correct and coordinated SAP Project. Carry out SAP related transactions for generating purchase / service request(s) structures.

  15. Assist Finance, Sales, and Liaison to forecast projected progress for funds / customer-billing / approvals respectively.

  16. Look for, propose, and implement innovative construction methods / materials to be adopted for faster quality construction.

  17. Champion Lean Construction Principles in execution of projects.

  18. Explore new methodology available in the market and suggest changes for improving existing construction technology followed at site.

Preferred candidate profile

  • M. E/M.Tech, B.E/ B.Tech in Civil Engineering
  • Should possess years of planning experience in large construction projects

(preferably residential multi-storey apartment complex / townships). Should have hands

on experience in modern construction technologies, planning various activities of the

projects coordinating with all departments including micro planning and budgeting.

  • Working knowledge in MS Projects and or Primavera essential.
