Job Description

Role Purpose
This is an exciting new position for an Oracle Functional Consultant to join Finance Systems team. The successful candidate will need to have experience in core Financials modules (AP, AR, GL, FA) .Any experience in additional modules would be beneficial. The role will require experience and capability of requirement mapping and gap analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Triage and resolve production support tickets effectively, accurately, efficiently and be adept in problem/defect resolution
• Be able to configure, support, and provide subject matter expertise by working closely with Systems Team, Business Teams, End Users and 3rd party vendors
• Must be thorough in all setups on one or many Financial modules
• Provide hands-on functional & configuration support for implemented ERP modules
• Follow up with product vendors on SRs, Patching, Bugs and product updates through issue closure
• Provide functional inputs and guide the development team in developing custom solutions and data migrations

Individual Profile

• Over seven years of experience working as an Oracle Functional Consultant in Oracle Cloud Financials
• Strong Period close process knowledge & experience on all modules
• Self-sufficient in writing SQL statements to debug/root cause technical and functional issues
• Excellent documentation skills, preparing various project documents viz Solution design, Functional Specifications, Setup Documents, Training materials, Update Knowledge Repository, SOPs & Run Books etc
• The candidate must have good knowledge of end-to-end integrations with all the other Oracle modules across Finance
• Experience in writing functional specification documents and build test cases and test scripts and perform end to end testing for development/patching etc
