Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and experienced and MongoDB Developer with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in developing server-side applications. The ideal candidate should have expertise in building scalable, high-performance backend systems, be proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, and have a solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and databases.Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Work with MongoDB to design and optimise database schemas, queries, and performance.
  • Apply strong Data Structures and Algorithms knowledge to solve complex challenges in system design and performance optimization.
  • Architect and implement solutions using serverless technologies like AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or Google Cloud Functions.
  • Handle complex error handling and debugging to ensure a seamless user experience and uptime.
  • Implement caching solutions to improve performance using technologies like Redis or Memcached.
  • Implement email and SMS functionalities using third-party services like SendGrid, Twilio, etc.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration with backend services.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and share best practices with the team.
  • Debug and resolve production issues and implement long-term fixes.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and integrate new technologies and techniques into existing systems.
  • Contribute to the CI/CD pipeline and improve the development process.
Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in backend development with
  • Strong knowledge of MongoDB: data modelling, indexing, aggregation, and performance optimization.
  • Expertise in Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) with a proven ability to implement and optimise for performance and scalability.
  • Experience with building and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
  • Experience with serverless architecture and building solutions using services like AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or Google Cloud Functions.
  • Knowledge of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture in and handling multiple communication protocols (HTTP, WebSockets, MQTT, etc.). 
  • Experience with sending email and SMS notifications using services like SendGrid, Twilio, or similar.
  • Familiarity with error handling techniques, debugging tools, and best practices for ensuring high uptime.
  • Expertise in caching technologies like Redis, Memcached, and strategies for improving system performance.
  • Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as Mocha, Jest, or Chai, with the ability to write comprehensive test cases for backend code.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Understanding of NoSQL principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in working with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms is a plus.
  • Good understanding of security best practices (encryption, authorization, and authentication).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on optimising algorithms and data handling.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
