About the Role

We are looking for a
highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Accountant
who can manage end-to-end accounting operations, ensure financial accuracy, and support our fast-growing business from
₹0–100 Cr scale
.

This role requires strong command over
Tally, Zoho Books, GST & TDS filings, reconciliation, financial modelling, and cash-flow management.

Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts using
    Tally
    and
    Zoho Books
  • Handle day-to-day accounting entries, ledgers, journals, and expense sheets
  • Ensure month-end and year-end closing activities

2. GST, TDS & Statutory Compliance

  • Prepare and file
    GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9)
  • Manage
    TDS deductions, filings, and challans
  • Coordinate with auditors for statutory compliance
  • Maintain all tax-related documentation and reconciliations

3. Invoicing & Vendor Management

  • Prepare customer invoices accurately and on time
  • Validate purchase invoices, debit notes, credit notes
  • Track vendor payments, follow-ups, and ageing reports

4. Bank Reconciliation

  • Daily bank reconciliation for multiple accounts
  • Match receipts & payments with accounting records
  • Monitor cash flow, overdraft limits, and credit usage

5. Financial Modelling & Reporting

  • Prepare
    brand-wise and category-wise financial models
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis
  • Build revenue models and growth projections from
    0 to 100 Cr
  • Generate MIS reports, P&L statements, balance sheets, and dashboards

6. Cash Flow & Treasury Management

  • Prepare weekly & monthly
    cash flow statements
  • Manage payables & receivables, ensuring smooth working capital flow
  • Track revenue, margins, and operational expenditures
  • Provide insights to the management for decision-making

7. Internal Controls & Process Improvement

  • Implement strong accounting controls and financial discipline
  • Suggest improvements in processes, automation, Zoho workflows
  • Support audits and ensure accuracy of financial records

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's in
    Accounting, Finance, Commerce (B.Com / M.Com / CA-Inter preferred)
  • 2–6 years
    of accounting experience in a growing startup or distribution business
  • Strong knowledge of
    Tally ERP, Zoho Books, GST, TDS, Excel, MIS
  • Ability to build financial models and do in-depth analysis
  • Excellent understanding of cash flow, payments, ledgers, and reconciliation
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ownership
