Job Description :

The Senior Algorithm Software Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing advanced algorithms to solve complex computational problems and enhance system performance. This role requires deep expertise in algorithmic design, strong coding proficiency, and the ability to work on high-impact projects that demand scalability, accuracy, and efficiency. The incumbent will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate algorithms into production-grade software solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to understand software requirements and functionality.
  • Develop and implement drowsiness detection algorithms based on facial cues (eye closure, yawning, head tilting, gaze tracking, etc.)
  • Design and train models to recognize driver gestures (e.g., hand movements, phone usage, head orientation)
  • Detect seatbelt usage and occupancy status for each seat using vision-based models
  • Optimize and deploy deep learning models for real-time inference in embedded environments
  • Handle dataset collection, annotation, augmentation, and preprocessing
  • Integrate computer vision pipelines using OpenCV (Not used as it is),MediaPipe(Not used as it is), or similar tools
  • Conduct performance evaluations and improve robustness under varying lighting andreal-world conditions
  • Convert models to lightweight formats for embedded inference

Mandatory Requirements :

  • 10-14 years of experience in computer vision and deep learning algorithm development
  • Proficient in at least one major framework: PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras etc
  • Experience with image/video processing using OpenCV
  • Knowledge of state-of-the-art object detection/classification architectures (e.g., YOLO, MTCNN, EfficientDet, MediaPipe, etc.)
  • Strong skills in Python, with experience in C++ for performance-critical applications preferred
  • Familiarity with edge deployment on platforms like NVIDIA Jetson, ARM SoCs, or Raspberry Pi
  • Experience in model compression and optimization for real-time applications
  • Practical experience with ML data pipeline tools (e.g., CVAT, Supervisely, Label Studio)

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience working on driver monitoring, in-cabin sensing, ADAS, or automotive HMI systems
  • Knowledge of facial landmark detection, gaze estimation, head pose estimation
  • Understanding of video-based action recognition or behavior analysis
  • Experience with GANs, domain adaptation, or synthetic data generation
  • Familiarity with automotive standards (e.g., ISO 26262, ASPICE) is a plus
