Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in English to join our dynamic academic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of the English language, a deep understanding of literature, and a proven ability to engage and inspire senior secondary students (Classes XI & XII).

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the CBSE curriculum.
• Teach English Literature and Language to senior secondary classes (Grades 11 and 12).
• Design and evaluate assignments, tests, and examinations to assess student progress.
• Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to promote critical thinking and communication skills.
• Maintain student discipline and ensure a safe, positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues for lesson planning, interdisciplinary teaching, and school events.
• Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school functions.
• Stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies and CBSE guidelines.

Requirements:

• Postgraduate degree (M.A.) in English from a recognized university.
• B.Ed. degree is mandatory.
• FRESHERS / 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated senior secondary school (preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and smart classrooms.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in CBSE board exam preparation.
• Ability to integrate technology into the classroom.
• Creative approach to lesson planning and student engagement.
• Team player with a proactive attitude.
