About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Site Supervising Civil Engineer to oversee and manage on-site construction activities. The role involves ensuring that projects are executed in line with design, quality, safety, and timeline requirements. The candidate will act as the primary point of coordination between project managers, contractors, and workers on site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at the site.
  • Ensure that work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, architects, and consultants.
  • Verify and measure work progress for billing and reporting.
  • Prepare daily/weekly site progress reports and submit to management.
  • Manage materials, tools, and labor allocation efficiently.
  • Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with approved plans and regulations.
  • Monitor site safety and enforce Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues on site in coordination with the project manager.
  • Assist in quality assurance checks, material testing, and site documentation.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in interpreting civil drawings and technical specifications.
  • Good knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to handle site issues and resolve conflicts efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • [3–7] years of experience in site supervision and construction management.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Flexibility to work on-site in [urban/rural/remote] project locations.
