Key Responsibilities
Programme & Operations Management

  • Lead, plan, and oversee livelihood programme delivery across assigned district centres.
  • Recruit, induct, mentor, and manage Centre-level Livelihood staff, ensuring high-quality performance.
  • Ensure achievement of programme milestones including mobilisation, training, assessments, and placements.
  • Monitor programme quality, documentation, reporting, and ensure timely submission of financial and programme updates.
  • Manage centre resources and budgets effectively to deliver optimum support to youth.

Youth Engagement, Assessment & Career Guidance

  • Oversee and support detailed 1:1 youth needs assessments to identify skills gaps, strengths, and career aspirations.
  • Develop personalised development plans with clear training and placement/education goals.
  • Provide high-quality, unbiased career counselling, information, advice, and guidance to youth.

Partnerships, Networking & Placements

  • Build and maintain partnerships with employers, colleges, government bodies, NGOs, and training providers.
  • Ensure adequate local placement and education opportunities for programme youth.
  • Manage and monitor external training partners and ensure service quality and alignment with programme outcomes.
  • Support mentoring processes including mentor-youth assignment and ongoing engagement.

Data, Reporting & Compliance

  • Ensure timely data recording, documentation, and analysis to improve programme performance.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to youth retention and programme delivery.
  • Contribute to programme innovations and implementation of updates from national teams.

Qualification & Experience

  • Graduate/Postgraduate degree from a recognised institution.
  • Minimum 2 years of managerial experience leading frontline youth/child development interventions.
  • Proven experience working with disadvantaged youth (18–25 age group preferred).
  • Experience in career counselling, skills development, employability training, or job placement.
  • Sound understanding of youth development, vocational training & community engagement.
  • Experience handling budgets, reporting, and local-level programme planning.
