Role & responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of operations and maintenance to ensure 100% uptime of DC power and UPS power for all electronic equipment.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure AMC vendors for timely maintenance and support, ensuring high service quality.
  • Leverage extensive knowledge of electrical and air conditioning systems from both operational and project perspectives in a data centre environment.
  • Act as a quick decision-maker in emergencies to minimize risks and ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Prepare and maintain various Management Information Systems (MIS) and reports using MS Office and relevant software.
  • Read and interpret electrical and civil drawings to facilitate project management and effective vendor coordination.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in data centre or MSC infrastructure operations.
  • 4-year full-time degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputed engineering college (preferred but not mandatory)
  • 8-10 years of experience managing infrastructure operations in large industries or telecom MSCs.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and air conditioning operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and quick decision-making skills in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficient in MS Office and other computer tools for report preparation and data management.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and civil engineering drawings.
  • Strong vendor coordination and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high operational standards
