Job Title: Data Engineer

Remote Work: Remote

Duration: 8 months contract

Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong SQL expertise and a solid foundation in data warehousing concepts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with large-scale data environments and a keen understanding of performance optimization techniques.

Core Skills & Requirements

SQL Mastery: Proven experience with advanced SQL features including stored procedures, views, and user-defined functions. Data Warehousing Expertise: Deep understanding of data warehousing principles and architecture. Performance Optimization: Demonstrated ability to work with large data warehouses, including query tuning, execution plan analysis, and performance troubleshooting. Data Integration Tools: Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and tools such as SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and Azure Data Factory (ADF).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Databricks is a plus, but not a strict requirement. Candidates who meet the core skill criteria will be considered regardless of Databricks experience.
