JD- Roles and responsibilities:

The DevSecOps Engineer Senior is pivotal in embedding modern unit testing, security and other tool seamlessly into the development lifecycle, ensuring the deployment and operation of secure and compliant business applications. This role requires a strong focus on Cloud-Development-AWS PaaS, CADM-Cloud Apps-Cloud DevOps, Automation-Tools/Platform- DevOps,automation, security integration, and continuous monitoring within the DevOps framework, fostering a culture of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) that prioritizes security.Key Attributes:

  • 5+ years of experience in a DevSecOps role, with demonstrated expertise in integrating security into DevOps processes.
  • Strong technical foundation in deploying and maintaining secure, scalable systems within a CI/CD pipeline.
  • Proficient in the use of security orchestration and automation tools and familiar with regulatory compliance requirements impacting system security.
  • Integrate security measures directly into the CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that security is a core component of application development, from code commit to deployment.
  • Expertly utilize a suite of tools including ArgoCD, Helm, GithubActions, Kubernetes and other CI/CD tools to manage configurations and automate security tasks

Skills:

  • Cloud-Development-AWS PaaS, CADM-Cloud Apps-Cloud DevOps, Automation-Tools/Platform-DevOps
  • AKS Blind, ArgoCD + Containers (Kubernetes/Openshift), Helm, any experience in Github Actions will be added advantage.
  • Must have experience in script automation and innovative solutions.
  • Must have problem solving ability to provide solutions to complex and new business problems.
  • Generate innovative ideas and apply them in implementing solutions.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable towards changing organizational needs.
  • Fair Communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Good understanding of industry best practices, processes, and procedures.
